• All new and returning students are required to enroll for each new school year. An annual enrollment fee is $50 and covers general shared art supplies for art students and portion of music recital fees for music students. ​

• Tuition: Payments may be made monthly, quarterly (every eight weeks), by semester or annually. Tuition must be paid in full by on or before the first day of the lesson. A $15 late fee will be added to past due account. For In-Home lessons: payments by semester or full year, or auto credit card payment, is required. ​

• Zhen Music and Arts Institute enrolls students throughout the year, subject to availability. Upon enrollment, students are expected to commit to the full term. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, a minimum of three (3) weeks' written notice is required for withdrawal. Two (2) week of lesson tuition will remain due during the notice period. 

• Private lessons are scheduled for the school year and are arranged mutually between teachers and students. No refunds or credits will be given for missed lessons. Make up lessons may be scheduled with at least 24-hour advance notice and are subject to the teacher's availability. Make-up lessons must be completed within the semester.. Failure to attend a scheduled make-up lesson will result in forfeiture of that lesson.  

• Group Classes: No refunds or credits will be issued for missed group lesson. ​

• Late Arrivals & No-Shows: The teacher will wait maximum  of 15 minutes while attempting to contact the student via phone or text message. If no contact is made, the lesson will be considered a "No-Show" with no make-up or credit provided, and you will be charged for the lesson. If a student arrives late, the teacher is only required to provide the remaining lesson time.​

• Summer lessons are highly recommended.

Additional Fees

• For music students: festival fees, Competition fees, and instrumental rental fees are not included in tuition and will be billed separately when applicable and due with the next tuition payment. 

• For art students: an art kit is required for Painting Class students prior to beginning class; Additional art supplies used during class will be added to the following tuition invoice as needed.

Referral Program

The Referral program allows students to earn $35 lesson credit towards their lesson tuition. Simply spread the word about our studio to your friends. For every enrolling student you refer, you’ll receive $35 lesson credit and there is no limit to the number of students you can get referral credits for.
